Age verification for iPhone app

It appears age restricted application warnings are active on the iTunes App Store. I’ll assume that the notification was for Shazam due to possible profanity on tagging music.

Age restriction verifications are inane because *anyone* could verify they were of age and the app wouldn’t know the difference. What’s the point?
Is there an app I can run that will tell me every app that requests an age verification so I can remove them from my iPhone all at the same time?
It’s a pain in the rear to be downloading 30+ updates, think the apps have all updated, then the next time I check my phone I find it’s not even halfway through with the updates because one of the apps requested age verification? Have you ever heard of anything so stupid?
