Leah Culver announced a couple of days ago the release of a public API for Pownce. A quick glance over on the Google PownceAPI group seems to indicate that they have some work to do, but it is the step in the right direction. I want to see a light client like Twitterific that doesn’t necessitate Adobe AIR. Someone is interested in helping on a Cocoa-based client and there is talk of an iPhone app, so that’s promising.
