Yes, my wife and I stood in line so she could have Guitar Hero 3 at midnight. I was surprised how many people were there and continued to trickle in after the doors opened.

As to the game itself – The wireless guitar for the Xbox 360 seems to be a bit wonky, as red and green button presses are not read every time. My wife has gone back to the wired GH2 guitar, and I am using the wireless one when we play in coop career mode.

The song list is quite good. Anything that covers Slayer, the Stones, the Killers, Maiden, and Stevie Ray Vaughn is a blast.

The boss fights are interesting. I’ve only gotten through the fight with Morello; my wife has finished Hard mode, so had to battle Slash. It’s hard to describe, so you’ll just have to try it.
