I was on the road yesterday when it was released, so I had to wait until just now to update my iPhone. I don’t have any hacks installed, so it went well. You can turn off EDGE data when traveling internationally.

The home button can be set to double-click to phone favorites, and you have the option of iPod controls. There is an option to override the phone choice for the iPod control choice if you are using the iPod functionality.
