limp-wristed liberal?

Dude - I assure you that I am a militant liberal, and my wrists are not only firm, but my forearms are evenly developed! (grin)

We do need non-fossil fuel power sources though, ALL of them: nuclear, wind, solar, hydro, ethanol from corn and from sugar, bio-diesel, the works...

Why not harnes power from waves... and if that can be done - it is only a few steps to harnes power from noise. While those are probably not efficient, they'll certainly be elegant - reduce erosion of shores and noise in cities while generating small amounts of power....

Our government should have done something about new energy sources long ago. It's been 30 years since the oil embargo of the 1970s - when will we wake up and tackle this difficult but very interesting problem to solve.
